The 1st Science Communication Meeting

The first event of the "Science-e-Communication" as part of the start-up project, which was led by Dr. Gaye Defne Ceyhan from Boğaziçi University Department of Mathematics and Science Education, was held at Darüşşafaka Educational Institutions.

The first science communication meeting on "Solar System and Beyond" was held on 26 September at the Mustafa Nuri Kınık Library of Darüşşafaka Schools with the participation of Alp Akoğlu, Director of the Space Awareness Education Support Office and Dr. Gizem Şengör, Boğaziçi University.

Given the importance of student-scientist interaction, the aim is to increase students' interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. The questions of the 7th grade students of Darüşşafaka Schools on "Solar System and Beyond" were answered by Alp Akoğlu and Dr. Gizem Şengör.
